Morning Gilds the skies

The dawn’s glistening rays light the horizon & begin to array the world with the dazzling colors of daytime. The sky is beckoned first by the sun, & responding, is rewarded with the gift of gold. Blades of grass & leaves of trees partake of the life giving essence, brightening to jade & all else follows suit, each in turn retiring the color of night & proclaiming the magnificence of God’s creation in jewel tones of amber, ruby, & sapphire. God desires the praises of all nations & people groups. He sent His Son to die on our behalf, our sin on His Son. But with His rising from the tomb, He victoriously proves that He is truly the Son of God, the one proclaimed in hundreds of Old Testament prophesies. So as we behold the dawn, God’s creation & plan for our redemption outshines all else, & our song can be joyous, rejoicing, when “Morning Gilds the Skies”, may Jesus Christ be praised.
