Harness Series: Winter

A relic of antiquity, remaining from the years when gentle & obedient draft horses helped to build a thriving country from a wilderness, remains today as the decor’ for a fence. Continued use by Amish & gentlemen farmers, proclaims the relevance of the initial design of the invention. Eternal relevance resounds in Matthew 11:29, “Take my yoke upon you & learn from Me, for I am gentle & humble in heart, & you will be able to find rest for your souls.” What makes the ‘yoke of Jesus‘ easy, is that He took the burden we were meant to carry-His righteousness exchanged for our sin at the cross. The Holy Spirit works further to mold us into the image of Christ making life of faith easier than trying to make ourselves acceptable to God thru works.
